Cookie policy

1. What we do not store

tevanor.online sets no cookie of any kind. Beyond cookies, it also writes nothing to any other browser storage mechanism. Specifically, there is no use anywhere on this site of:

• Cookies — first-party or third-party, session or persistent;
• localStorage or sessionStorage;
• IndexedDB, Web SQL or the Cache Storage API;
• Analytics of any kind — no Google Analytics, no Matomo, no server-side analytics product;
• Advertising or conversion pixels — no Meta pixel, no Microsoft UET tag, no Google tag;
• Device or browser fingerprinting, canvas fingerprinting, or any equivalent technique for recognising a returning visitor;
• Third-party requests of any sort. There are no Google Fonts, no CDN-hosted libraries, no remote images, no embedded videos, no social widgets and no iframes. Every font is a system font already on your device; every other asset is served from this domain.

2. Why there is no consent banner

Under Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC (the ePrivacy Directive), as implemented in the Czech Republic by Act No. 127/2005 Coll. on electronic communications, consent is required before storing information on, or gaining access to information already stored on, a user’s terminal equipment — other than for what is strictly necessary to deliver a service the user requested.

We neither store nor access anything on your device. The obligation that a consent banner exists to discharge therefore never arises. Rather than show you a banner asking permission for something we do not do, we removed the collection. A banner here would be theatre.

This also means there is no “reject all” button to hunt for, no preference centre to navigate, and no consent record to keep — because there is nothing to consent to.

3. How to verify this yourself

Please do not take our word for it. It takes about thirty seconds to check, and the same method works on any site you visit.

In Chrome, Edge or another Chromium browser

1. Press F12 (or Ctrl+Shift+I; on a Mac, Cmd+Option+I) to open Developer Tools.
2. Open the Application tab.
3. In the left-hand panel, under Storage, click Cookies → https://tevanor.online. The list will be empty.
4. Still under Storage, check Local Storage, Session Storage and IndexedDB. All empty.
5. Now open the Network tab and reload the page with Ctrl+F5. Every request listed will be to tevanor.online. There are no other domains.

In Firefox

1. Press F12 and open the Storage tab. Cookies, Local Storage, Session Storage and Indexed DB will all be empty for this site.
2. The Network tab, after a reload, will show requests to this domain only.

In Safari

1. Enable the Develop menu under Safari → Settings → Advanced.
2. Develop → Show Web Inspector, then the Storage tab.

Check the response headers too

In the Network tab, click the document request for the page itself and look at the response headers. There will be no Set-Cookie header. That is the definitive check: a cookie can only reach your browser through a Set-Cookie header or a line of JavaScript, and there is neither.

4. What the JavaScript on this site does

There are two small scripts, both served from this domain, both readable in full at /js/site.js and /js/cta.js. You are welcome to read them.

• site.js opens and closes the navigation menu on small screens. Its state lives in the page and is gone when you close the tab.
• cta.js handles partner links. If the address you arrived on already contains an advertising campaign identifier (such as msclkid or a utm_ parameter), it copies that existing parameter onto the outbound partner link so the advertiser can attribute the click. It also re-applies the rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" attributes so a link can never lose its disclosure. It sets no cookie, stores nothing, and makes no network request of its own.

Neither script reads or writes any browser storage. Neither sends anything anywhere.

5. Server logs are not cookies

Our web server keeps short-lived technical request logs, as essentially all web servers do. That is not a cookie, stores nothing on your device, and cannot be used to recognise you across sites. It is described in section 3 of the privacy policy, including its retention period.

6. When you leave this site

If you follow a partner link, you arrive on a third party’s website, and that site’s cookie practices apply, not ours. Advertisers and vendors generally do set cookies. Our zero-cookie promise covers pages on tevanor.online; it cannot and does not extend to anyone else’s site.

7. Changes

If we ever introduced anything that stored information on your device, we would update this page, describe exactly what it does, and ask for your consent before doing it. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last reviewed.
